About Trust
Honourable Haji. Khadir Mohideen Marakayar, the icon of Adirampattinam, was a great Philanthropist and renowned personality. He, along with his benevolent brothers Haji. Ahamed Thambi Maraicar, Haji. Shaik Salath Lebbai Maraicar and brother Late. Naina Mohamed Lebbai Maraikayar’s son Janab M.K.N. Naina Mohamed Labbai Maraicar, foresaw the essentiality of inculcating religious values as well as education. They generously bequeathed their wealth to establish Madarasathul Salahi Fi Athiramil Falahi Trust which has been flourished and bloomed over generations and now as M.K.N. Madharasa Trust. This is the most appropriate moment to commemorate them with a feeling of gratefulness and pay homage to them.
The M.K.N. Madharasa Trust, founded in 1900, is exclusively an Islamic religious charity Trust rendering service with an Islamic vision and doctrines. With the income generated by the properties, the Educational Institutions such as Khadir Mohideen Boys Higher Secondary School, Khadir Mohideen Girls Higher Secondary School and Khadir Mohideen College were established to induce education to all sections of people irrespective of caste and religion, under the governance of the Trust.
